is committed to eradicate cruelty and harm towards pets and animals. It aims to create a safe environment for our fur friends, wherein they can feel loved and protected, like they also do as our companions in life. According to Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), they received at least 40 reports per day regarding animal abuse. Lend a Paw also supports Republic Act 8485, an act to promote animal welfare in the Philippines, also known as "The Animal Welfare Act of 1998", wherein it is aligned with its goal to protect and promote the welfare of all animals in the Philippines and wherein any form of cruelty should be penalized.

The program Lend a Paw is designed for long term commitment for the paws. This shows the initiatives to adopt pets rather than purchasing from pet stores to manage stray animal populations. To actively participate, join any fund programs on the PAWS website. Precisely, the Foster Home Program is suitable for those who are eager to take care for neglected animals but not yet able to completely commit to owning one. Moreover, the Shelter Feeding Program is for those who want to spend time with the animals while feeding them the food you have brought for them. This is an exceptional example of the spirit of bayanihan manifested in the 21st century. In one’s own little way, a real impact is made with a simple click of button.
